CT AMC Volunteer Appreciation Picnic - July 9th

Please join us in celebrating an afternoon of camaraderie and food for our CT. chapter volunteers and prospective volunteers. We are grateful to those folks who have helped made the CT. Chapter successful in providing wonderful outdoor activities and administrative functions when needed.

Let’s share the morning and/or afternoon together. Morning activities include a nature 2 mile walk and 5-mile hike. Meet at the pavilion (follow AMC signs) at 10 am. A bike ride will be offered and posted online in the AMC Database. In addition, check out the climbing demonstration, by our own mountaineering/climbing committee.

Here’s the schedule: Morning activities:

• 9:30AM Bike ride in the Clinton/Killingworth area, go to: www.outdoors.org
• 10 AM Hike within the park up to 5 miles meet at pavilion.
• 11AM Nature walk up to 2miles.
• 12:30 to 1:30 lunch time (veggie and meat wraps, chips, soda, iced tea, dessert)
• 1:00 Trivia games PRIZES given
• Join us for a CT. AMC trivia games (with prizes),
• book swaps (bring a guidebook, take one), and enter a Raffle Prizes give away!!
• Learn about other Volunteer Opportunities.
• Meet our CT. Chapter Executive Committee Members!
• See and share good times with your AMC friends!

Cost: ( for lunch, a AMC bandana and raffle tkt.)
